    Attach the Fi2000 module’s forward injector plug, with the grey and red wires, onto the front injector. Then take the original HD connector and insert the corresponding Fi2000 connector, with the brown and red wires, into it. (For model years 02’ and Up refer to figure 2, for model years 95-01 refer to figure 3) Then take the original HD connector and insert the corresponding Fi2000 connector, with the green and red wires, into it. (For model years 02’ and Up refer to figure 2, for model years 95-01 refer to figure 3) Remove the door from the Fi2000 box to expose the LED’s. Verify the wire connections by (1) turning the ignition on, prior to starting, and see if all three LED’s are on steady. If you have no light, your ground connection (BLACK wire) has not made proper contact or your front injector connection is not complete. (2) After achieving a steady light from all three LED’s, start the motorcycle, wait 15 seconds and let it idle, the green light should now be the only LED on. If all three LED’s are still on after start up, verify you have attached the injector connectors correctly. Reattach the door when finished.     Great product that works as advertised, preset from factory for my bike, great price. It had easy to follow directions, great quality, small package so it does not take up alot of room, and best of all it does not take a computer to install and there is no need to dyno bike after installing. It was very inexpensive upgrade and was a great product to accent my pipes and air cleaner. In short buy this product, you will not be disappointed. The back firing has ceased and it actually has a deeper Harley rumble but the wires could have been a little bit longer. Installed it myself in 30 min and super easy to dial in. My bike is super responsive now and runs very strong. Great deal and no messing with downloads. Just set the 3 dials and done Son! Beast mufflers. I had some back fires so I installed this fuel kit on my 2012 Limited. It elimenated 98% of the backfire. Bike appears to run stronger. I tried to play with the setting to get a bit more out of it, but I don't really know what I'm doing lol. I'm sure once it's set correctly it will live up to the hype. I was going to put 4 stars, but then I realized it's not Cobra's fault I don't know what i'm doing. This unit was easy to install, directions were easy to understand and it did not need to be put on the dyno, or need to be used in conjunction with a laptop to set it up. It was most prominent in the morning but continued through-out the day. Idle wasn't ideal but serviceable. Post-install; Unit at stock setting. The back-fire has been reduced tremendously, I would estimate on the order of 95%.So far I am pleased with the performance the Cobra Fi2000R offers and the overall expense was fairly reasonable.There are three POTS that can be used to dial in the correct fuel mixtures based each bike application and type of accessories installed. The device seems well made and is relatively easy to install. The OEM connectors for each model are a huge bonus as they eliminate having to splice wires in confined spaces..but, for my application, a Vulcan VN900, I'm finding the bike is running rich and it seems impossible to tune this out. I've read dozens of other reviews and I can see that many people have found it hard to dial in their configuration. In my case, I've even tried turning all settings off and the bike is still running rich.

    This device seems to work best when installed onto a stock bike that has not had the air intake upgraded to a high-low or performance model. When the bike has a full stage 1, including; aftermarket pipes and air intake, it does not seem that this device can tune to that, which in my opinion makes it kind of useless - the reason most people would install a fuel tuner is to compensate for aftermarket pipes and air intake. Have not spoken to Cobra support yet and will update this review based on what they say. For now I think my advice would be to stick to a Power Commander - more expensive but they are tried and proven.Takes some time to dial in, but can be done. The first setting is for the idle, adjust to where there is no popping, just a smooth sound. The second setting is for throttle response. Crack the throttle and the light should come on instantly, if not adjust the dial so that it does. The last setting is for wide open throttle response. This one is best set by dino tuning the bike, but I have mine set on (3) and it responds very nicely. Don't be afraid to turn the dial settings, that's why they are there. The most important thing is to have the bike fully warmed up before setting.I was able to install this unit in about an hour. I was only delayed trying to maneuver my fingers and a screwdriver in the right place to unplug the fuel injector connectors. The wire was small enough to easily route through the frame and tie down to the existing harness. The ground wire was the perfect length to velcro the unit to the back of the battery box and connect easily to the battery. It fired up with no worries and I could feel the performance gain through the middle and high-end without any adjustment. I'll probably bring it to a dyno shop and let them do a fine-tune.Product seems good quality. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. Installation was easy with basic handtools.

David Bachman 4.0 out of 5 stars Installation wasn't too bad, the most difficult part being the process of getting the injector plugs in place. Lots of surging like before, but with the addition of an occasional stumble and the stink of unburned fuel. I tried adding more fuel and less and messing with all three dials until I read online about others saying the factory settings were too rich. I turned the first dial back to 2 and it ran MUCH better, and turning it back just a bit more to 1.5 got it just about perfect (1.5-2-2). Even after I added Rush slip-on mufflers and a high-flow air cleaner, I only needed to turn that first dial up to 2, while the others got bumped up one notch, so my current settings are 2-3-3. Once you get this thing dialed in just right, there is a VERY obvious difference in power and smoothness. However, getting to this point was a LONG, annoying process, with a lot of miles and time wasted in trying different settings.

    Everyone's bike is different, and settings also vary according to your location's climate and elevation, but be aware that this definitely does NOT come set up correctly out of the box and will likely run too rich.This combination with the fuel turner has been just what I was looking for. The installation from start to finish was no more than about 30 minutes. Even though the instructions say the fuel tank does not need to be removed, I chose to take it off anyway because it is simple to do, and made the install much easier. There two minor (almost insignificant) concerns. First, the red and green indicator LEDs were installed in reverse on the circuit board from what was stated in the instructions, but it doesn't affect the action of the tuner in any way. Second, if you fasten the tuner in the battery box too close to the top of the battery, the door will push against the case of the unit and potentially separate the two halves of the case. It is no big deal really; just snap the two haves together and you're set. All you need to do is mount the unit lower on the battery strap and this isn't an issue. I guess the case could be a bit more robust. All in all, however, I am very pleased with this tuner, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a simple, effective, no-nonsense (and affordable) solution to the fuel-starved stock Harley.My bike runs way better now. It idles smoother, accelerates smoother, and I think there's a smudge more hp up top. Even against all reason, I'm seeing better gas mileage.Added plenty of upper end power but had to by another product (same model without o2 sensor input). Bike runs great with other tuner.Easy to install easy to adjust. I like itThe module is small enough that it fits easily under the batter cover. No one can even tell I added this extra harness because it's not very big and has the same style wire shielding as the stock harness. Works great, easy to install, and cheap too. Great product!

    Right off the bat the bike is noticeably more responsive on the low end with stock settings. Took it out for a 20 minute ride and 85% of the decel pop has been eliminated. Bike cruises smoother, sounds better, less vibration from motor. Best part, roll on power that was absent before. Little more fine tuning will be perfect. Cobra got this one right and fair price for the Budget rider.It does the job but don’t be afraid to make adjustments. I am currently running 2-2-1. Feels stronger overall when it is warm but bogs a little when it is cold. Mpg is still 40-45 city driving.Packaging was good and I could tell the product was new and wasn't an return from another customer. Everything was provided for an easy installation. The five star rating was earned when I started the engine. Note, I would recommend putting a different intake air cover. I went with the cobra powerflo air intake. The bike took on a whole new sound.The throttle is very responsive at all ranges of RPM. A perfect set up for my Kawasaki 900 classic. Noticed the improved horsepower immediately. Money well spent.     No popping and runs fantastic. Bike is crazy fast for a 1300 cc. Didn't mess with the fuel mileage might even be better. I'll need to drive it awhile but my first impressions are as follows. I installed everything by the instructions except I waited until last to zip tie every thing. I did find out that the front O2 pigtail needs to be left loose on my bike so you can tuck it behind the radiator cover. I initially turned the key on and was pleased all 3 lights extinguished in less than 2 seconds. Then I finished zip tie all the wires etc. Reinstalled all covers etc. Started it and a second later only a green light as expected. Then I proceeded to drive it and ALL aspects of drivability improved drastically. So that's my review and I had zero problem d with the instructions etc. Great purchase for the money. Easy to install and no mapping to mess with. A pair of needle nose pliers will help with the front and rear fuel injector connections. Stock cobra presets are at 2-2-2. Still ran lean so I adjusted all 3 pots to 4-4-4. No more lean condition and it runs great. I had my local shop install it and that didn't take long at all. I noticed right away that allot of the popping I had during decal was gone, not completely, but much improved. I did see a decrease in my fuel economy which disappointed me. There are three adjustments that can be made with the Fi2000. I plan to explore tuning further next time I take the bike in for work. I’m very happy and thank you. She says it's like riding a new bike Great product and service from PG again Easy install just make sure you read the instructions before you get started. I took my bike for a ride and noticed instant improvement. Better throttle response, more horsepower and torque and no more popping. Even my exhaust seems to sound better. Awesome product Bike runs noticeably cooler. Installed with new Cobra drag pipes. Sounds killer. I would recommend it. The auto tune is perfect you never have to mess with it.

    My experience was 10 out 10. Everything according to what was advertised, easy checkout, shipping really fast with details and fitment on the product. Much better performance. Easy set up. Bike runs lot better. Runs great! Throttle response in mid-range greatly improved and cruises better on highway. I haven't checked fuel mileage yet but I'm not going back whatever. I highly recommend this fuel controller. No more popping and backfiring. More power, not that it needed it but it's nice. Very easy to install love it. On my 2019 Honda Fury. Took care of the backfiring and pairs great with the cobra dragsters! Didn't have to program at all. Amazing product! Went so quick I thought something was missing. I fired up the bike and it did exactly what I wanted it to do with no adjustment. I had just put on freedom performance true duals and the bike was running pretty poorly. This tuner smoothed things out nicely right out of the box. I would certainly recommend it to someone looking for an easy quick tuner solution. If you want I’m sure you could get something more powerful but this is perfect if you don’t want to fool with all the tuning. Plug and play at its best. Set up nice from the factory for the bike and pipes. Took less than 10 minutes. Very easy installation plug and play connectors. I didn’t have to adjust it at all. Well worth the money. After a month of messing with it I'm cutting my losses and taking it out. Cobra's kits are designed specifically to negate the lean running stock configuration. When I say lean, I mean that there's less fuel being delivered via fuel-injection than what is optimal for peak performance. All late-model mass-produced bikes come from the factory tuned leaner than ideal so as to pass emissions regulations. By adding an Fi2000R, you're going to make the bike run richer (that is, add more fuel than stock) in order to get more power and better overall engine performance out of the bike.

    It doesn't actually make any changes to the ECM nor will it delete the key program on your machine. It simply changes the signals between the bike's on-board parts so as to improve throttle response and engine output. My 06 night train isnt equipped with O2 sensors therefor many tuners will not work on my model and year. It then intercepts that signal and adjusts it as required in order to produce the best possible throttle response and engine performance. Similar to the way you'd adjust a carburetor (low, mid, high jetting) - there are three adjustment pots on the unit itself which you use to set up the bike to deliver fuel as you need. It doesn't require an oxygen sensor in order to function properly. If you find that those settings are not ideal for your needs, the included instructions do a pretty good job of explaining exactly what adjustments you'd want to make based upon the way the bike responds at various power settings. I have a 2015 Yamaha bolt r- spec The included instructions do an excellent job of explaining how to go about adjusting the device to work with your exact configuration. With that device, it's a simple matter of plugging it in and then going for a ride. That's all. If you're really picky about throttle response, there's also an iOS or Android smartphone application that can be used to really fine tune fuel delivery with the PowrPro Black. And like the Fi2000R, the included instructions help you get the most out of your fuel tuning needs. Would the Cobra replace that or work with it? In the case of the Road King Power Commander 3, there's a litany of maps available on the Power Commander website that you can download that'll put your bike within the ballpark as far as tuning goes. Of course, if you were to retain the PC3, in order to get the most possible power out of the engine, you'd want to visit a dyno shop and have that device professionally tuned.

    Will this work for me The device comes configured from the factory to work with a full exhaust system, which may get you close to your tuning needs. From there, you can adjust the three rheostats on the Fi2000R in much the same way as you would adjust a carburetor. The included instructions do an excellent job of explaining how to go about adjusting fuel delivery to get the best possible throttle response and engine power output for your exact needs. You'll notice in the instructions that come with slip-on, they recommend the installation of this controller as well. Better yet, the device will be configured with to work with the Cobra exhaust right out of the box, too. And best of all, the included Fi2000R instructions do an excellent job of explaining exactly how to fine-tune the device to give you the best possible performance for your bike's exact tuning needs. Do I need to make one to use the sensor? Everything you need to put it on 2009-2013 model year Voyagers is included in the box and installation is rather simple. Maybe twenty minutes worth of work, if you were to take your time! For some machines, you may need to use the included T-tap to complete the job, but there's never any splicing or soldering of wires required to complete the installation. They'll also work with cam sets of a modest lift (509 or less), but once you start getting into big bore kits and head work, they simply don't have the adjustment range required to delivery enough fuel to the combustion chamber.It's also suitable for use on machines with cams up to.510 - so the 509 cam set on your bike shouldn't be a problem. Is this a n open or closed loop system?. If you plan on running your bike without the O2 sensor, this is the proper unit to get. About the best situation in which to run an open-loop setup is if you have very specific fuel delivery needs, particularly at higher RPMs.
